Hey!

So I have a girl cat who is about 2 years old. She's a nice cat and everything but when you pick her up and hug her, she cries and hisses sometimes. Is it just the fact that she doesn't like being hugged?

Because she comes to you on her own to be petted?

Thanks = )

  1. we dnt likey being touched! leave us alone people!

  2. Hissing can be a sign of a cat in pain...is your cat fixed? If not make sure she isnt sick or hurt and check to make sure she isnt leaking a milky substance after going into heat...this could be signs of Pyometra which is a deadly disease that female cats that are not spayed can get and they will die if not treated

  3. She's got feral cat blood.I have a wildcat too. He hisses at the drop of a hat.

  4. You're upsetting her zen. But you nevermind that; you're only showing her your love.

  5. Girl cats are sensative so just dont pick her up there is other ways to show her you love her

  6. she is spoiled!

  7. Most cats don't like to be picked up and held against their will. They want to make the decisions and not be forced to do anything. My cat doesn't mind being picked up, but he does NOT like being hugged or cuddled at all. Female cats are even less accepting of being picked up and hugged. Crying and hissing is your cat's way of showing you that she doesn't like what's going on. Consider yourself lucky. My cat uses his teeth as his only form of communication.

  8. she prob doesnt lik being picked up some cats dont lik being off the ground even if ur holding them safely
