Question:

Why does my cat keep barfing?

We have tried several different foods and have de-wormed him as well. Nothing seems to help. I have had him for about 3 years now, he found me. He was living on the streets and it looked like he had for some time! It was about 4below zero and he had a nasty cold! I nursed him back, but the barfing has not stopped. The vet wants to do x-rays! So my question is there any other idea of why he could be still doing this and what I might try?

He also is an inside cat now. The poor thing hate going out side!

  1. Take him to the vet and have them do what is necessary to find out what the problem is.

  2. he has problem for sure; I agree w vet.there are vets out there that

only deal w cats/cat clinics you could switch

  3. Good for you, what a lucky kitty!!!  :)

I think the vet is right.  Definitely time to look into this.  I would personally do xrays, ultrasound, and a full blood panel.  If you are going to try and figure it out, do it right - if you can afford it that is...  It can be overwhelming but worth it if it leads to what you need to know.

I wish you both well and hope you find what you are looking for.  Let me know if you do.  Curious.....   :)
