My cat keeps vomiting every night and i have no clue why. We have not changed his food or anything he eats and he does everything else the same. Nothing has changed. He is 8 years old. He is overweight, but I don't know if that is the problem. He throws up everything he ate or drank that day. He just lays around, but he always has but now he looks sad or sick or something. This has been going on for about a week and a half. He went to the vet they said nothing is wrong but I think there is he has never done this before. So if any one knows anything at all will you please help me out.

  1. I'd go back and get some blood work done.  There's probably an underlying cause.  Some diseases aren't manifest until later in an animal's life.

  2. I have a cat that vomits pretty regularly.  She just eats and eats and eats until she gets sick.

I've tried worming her and it helped for a while but I also have reason to believe that she is diabetic.

You might have your cat screened for it.

    Good luck

  3. your cat is probably overeating, especially if your cat is overweight. I would see a vet to put your cat on a diet.

  4. try going to a vet!  i have three cats, one of them vomits all the time! i believe our cat does cause shes so nervous around the other cats!

is there any thing really new?  if not I'm not sure so i suggest going to a vet!

  5. hes drunk my cat is to

  6. Poor kitty......my cat throws up sometimes because she has long hair and has hair balls or if i change her food...but if you cat has been throwing up for a week than it's most likely sick....i would go to a different vet this time.....if your cat is sick you don't want to wait to long it will only get worse....give um lots of xoxoxo......take care

  7. Hello oh poor baby, Please take him to a VET for a blood test, he may have diabetes, or pancreatitis, this is totally not normal.. he is losing valuable fluids not safe..  Sometimes cats can throw up a hair ball but this sounds like something more serious.. better to be safe than sorry!! GOOD LUCK!
