Why does my cat like melon ?

my cat likes melon he absolutely adores melon

Some cats tend to like strange things. I have three cats that like watermelon, and have for a long time. Nothing has happened to them, and I highly doubt anything would happen to your cat. I think that you should let him eat it from time to time, but not all the time. Maybe leave as bit on the rind and give it to him.

I dunno...maybe he watches you eating it and thinks he's supposed to, too!  My cat loved cantaloupe, asparagras, and oj...I think she thought she was a human being.

I had a cat(he died of kidney failure at age 14) that liked honey dew melon.  I know of no reason not to let them eat the melon  so let him have at it.
