Why does my cat like to sniff me a lot when

I have perfume on. He seems to like the smell a lot but I've always thought that cats hate the sent of perfume!!!

all of us have a personal scent. your cat knows yours like a new baby knows his mother. your cat sniffs to find yours. if you think its the perfume it likes try putting alil on its fav. place to sleep. if it doesn't like the scent it won't sleep there anymore. if its unaffected and he contines to sleep there it may really like the scent.

They don't like overpowering scents. I take it that your perfume is mild or that you apply very little..

Maybe he just notices that you smell different and is investigating the new smell everytime you put the perfume on. Everytime I come out of the shower and I smell of soap and shampoo my cat smells me and rubs himself on me...I think he is trying to get his scent back on me.
