  1. Well, it could be lots of things... the file size compared to your available memory (especially for pics)

    Your signal strength

    Your carrier

The person's carrier you are sending it to (because of different types of towers some carriers take longer to connect to a different tower type... GSM TDMA CDMA....

Your antenna could be going bad, though if that were happening you would be dropping a ton of calls

If you have a decent amt. stored to your phone, you may want to try putting in a memory card if don't have one already.

Try resetting your phone to the towers...

AT&T & T-mobile... turn it off and back on

Cricket... Turn it off, wait a few.. turn it on and dial *228 and send.. let it do it's thing... it will beep when it is done.

Sprint... Turn it off and on, then dial *2... it will reprogram

Verizon.. I don't remember the code for them, I've been in this business too long, but if you have them, or some other carrier I haven't mentioned, just call customer care and ask how to do a hard reset.

What this does, it just resets your phone to the towers, recieves updates, and in a lot of cases improves signal strength.

    Good luck!
