Why does my child always have to go the bathroom when in a pool?

Every time my daughter swims, she has to p**p. We're in a bathroom 2 or 3 times during the trip. Does anyone have any ideas on why?

  1. How old is your daughter? Is she nervous or scared to be in the water? Maybe fear or excitement is making her feel like she has to go to the bathroom.

Do make sure she does this out of the water, though, for the sake of the hygiene and safety of everyone else in the pool.

  2. How old is she? Does she p**p every time she's in the bathroom at the pool? A lot of younger kids think they have to pee when they get in the pool, even if they've just been. It has to do partially with excitement, but sometimes their bodies just get confused and make the kids think they have to go.

Also, like all young creatures, lots of movement from their body means that their insides will move stuff around too. If she's expending a lot of energy swimming and jumping around in the water, her body may just be responding to that.

  3. probably swallows a lot of water with bacteria
