My child keeps seeing a white owl, with blue eyes, that bites and takes snacks, as she says. I, my sister, and everyone else cannot see her. Is this a disease? An angel? What is it?

She is two years, going on three.

  1. problem an angel .me and my cousin can see angels.it can`t be a bad spirit if it has blue eyes. by the way my cousin is 23 and she brought it up .p.s I'm 9

  2. I would agree that it is most likely just a vivid imagination. Especially because it bites and takes snacks. Angels don't bite. ; )

  3. it's probably like an imaginary friend or something.

  4. It isn't much to be concerned about especially coming from the mind of a two year old. Kids are very imaginative at that age. Though they say that kids and animals can see angels. Either way, you should not be worried. If it is an angel, it is there to protect them, not to hurt them.

  5. this is called IMAGINATION.  encourage it.

  6. maybe your child is seeing an owl, just because you dont see it doesnt mean it isnt there, children are more open to things than we are so it is quite possible that your child may be seeing something you can not, or

your child could just have a good imagination and has this imaginary owl friend, i wouldnt think a disease

my son was only about 6 years old and one day he told me that his friend tracey visits him alot and i didnt know any traceys, he pointed to a house and said she lived there and we had lived there for a while and knew the people and there was no tracey there, i still believe to this day that he saw something that we couldnt

  7. It is called a vivid imagination

  8. I agree that it's an imaginary pet. My little sister had a "pet bunny" which didn't exist no matter how convincing she was about it.

  9. Two years old is kind of young for such an imagination. Does she have any other health problems? My daughter saw and owl and then with in hours started seeing other things. She was hallucinating due to a severe electrolyte imbalance. Her magnesium was 0.

  10. Because she is two going on three and her imagination is working overtime.  Small children often see things adults can't, they have imaginary playmates etc.  The only "disease" seems to be the parent's lack of understanding childhood.
