I've had Phoenix (the singer) for ten years and he's always liked to 'sing' and while he sings he walks back and forth, bobs his head, and stands up really tall. I adopted a buddy for him (who actually has no interest in Phoenix) and now Phoenix often sings to him, while Snuggles (the new adoption) backs off and hisses. Is this some sort of dominance thing? I've read that they generally don't have dominance, but will establish a 'pecking order'..is that what this is? He also walks low to the ground with his wings folded, but held up..he looks playful but now I'm wondering if it's the same type of display, he's always done that and doesn't seem to do it more or less with the addition. I am 100% sure that they are both male birds.
