Why does my coffee taste bitter?

I buy a large coffee every morn from Dunkin Donuts. It is always perfect. But this morn it tastes bitter? Whats up with that!!!

It was either burned, steeped too long, or just not made from freshly roasted beans in the first place... better luck tomorrow!

they probably roasted it too long ?

Probably sat on the burner too long. they're only supposed to keep a pot for 10 min then dump it, but when I worked there years ago, they didn't keep track of the time. you must have went during a slow time.

it's been held too long.  best fresh brewed.
