Why does my compter always say u need Macromedia Flash Player but i always download it but it doesnt work?

Download it from the official site, then wait a couple of minutes, Log/Turn your computer off, then start it up again. You should have it up - test it on a site that uses it... If that fails, then try the troubleshooting guide or help thingie.

Also, it may be that you have no memory space to download it - Is your computer old? I know mine takes ages to download, then only works after a short while. It's a tad unpredictable! ^_^

You may be downloading the wrong version - I think the latest is Macromedia Flash player 8, but I may be wrong...

Are you getting this on Youtube and other streaming video sites?

Usually this error message means that either you have Java script turned off, or your firewall software has adblocking turned on.  Also disable any toolbars that might have pop-up blockers.

try uninstalling it using a small program available at adobe.com; then installing it.

try using a different browser.

i have an acer and it always does that but usaully down on the bottom of ur cmputer has a little e button click that if u see it ean thats what u use

Your computer isn't saying you need it, FireFox or Internet Explorer is saying it.  I wouldn't know why it doesn't download, but FireFox3 is being weird, so download it from the source:  http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/...

It could be that you have active x disabled. At the top, you should see a bar that says enable active x or active x disabled. Right click and enable.

You might have downloaded only the installer for Macromedia Flash Player. Find the installer for Macromedia Flash icon and THAT should install the actual thing. :)

You don't have enough memory you need to buy 500GB at least same thing happen to my parents computer it eventually fried the hard drive because of the memory prob.

mine used to do that but i downloaded firefox and it worked on there
