Why does my computer automaticaly shutdown randomly. ?

At some points my pc shuts down. Sometimes a blank grey screen appears. When i turn the computer on again then my desktop background is grey. What should i do please help.

I would start backing up all your memory soon.

Then delete all memory on the computer in case it's over loaded.

If it's not a memory or virus problem- it may be a hardware prob.

Then you'll need an on hand computer guy!

It may be that your computer heats up...

You may also have a virus in which case you should get a firewall...I ahve Norton which is very helpful.

If you have too many desktop shortcuts then your computer slows down too.

right click on the desktop left click properties left click screen saver left click power change the time out settings.
