While I was gone for vacation, some setting got changed on our computer(not on purpose). Whenever we try to run a file or change a setting or use autorun from a disk, it asks for the password even though I am on the admin account. I know the password and so does my mom, but we are tired of entering it on the admin account every time we want to change something, because we already entered it to log on. There is only one admin account on the computer. It used to ask for it only if you were a standard user, but now it does it on admin too. How can we change it back? Help!

  1. Hi, first of all let me introduced myself; I'm Edgar and I've worked with Microsoft as a program generator. Please go to control panel under user account, remove the password completely from the account. Once press the above it will ask you to enter the password, enter it and restart the computer. Once the computer has rebooted please create a new password by going once again to the user account and clicking on create new password. Now if you don't mind please download the below program called ccleaner, it's completely free and has no limitations. This will clean a bit your computer and make it from asking you all those passwords...
