Why does my computer keep shutting down anytime it wants?

after like an hour or so on my computer it like shuts off and idk y

this started like about 2 or 3 days ago but b4 those days i almost never shut it off some1 help me i hate it when it shuts off on me cuzz it happens any time

and it wont let me do the virus protection thingy

if u have any idea how to fix this plz let me know

its like its on sleeper timer

It's like gettN hot inside cuz it is full of dust bunnies.... when overheats iit like shuts down until it cools off.......then restarts........

Take cover off the box case and use can of air to blow out the dust. And make sure the like box has air circulatin around it.... now it will like run good all the tym.........

if its on sleeper timer, that means it will go off after a certain time; you have to change the time

Have you recently installed service pack 3? If so that's probably the source of your problem.
