Why does my computer pause alot during movies and music?

all movies off the internet and my yahoo music pauses alot how can i fix that

you probably have a virus .. mine did the same thing then i found out it was a virus so i had 2 delete all of the folder things.. then it started running faster ...

Your Internet connection is too slow. You might see if you can speed it up. Go here and run a "tweak test" - http://www.dslreports.com/tools

You might be able to speed it up enough to solve your problem.

usually the server is still loading the vid while u watch it. when it hits a spot that hasn't loaded, it pauses. you have to wait for the whole vid to load

your internet speed isn't fast enough. its buffering. need to increase your internet speed.
