Why does my computer say critical low battery error when I turn it on?

Even though my computer is always plugged into an outlet and everything is hooked up, when I turn it on it always say critically low battery error then turns off. What can I do to prevent this??

that means that the internal cpu battery is low..you have to buy a new battery

there's probably something wrong with the battery. you could take it to a repair shop and ask them what's wrong or buy a new battery for it

It means the battery is very low. You have to buy a new battery

Next time, if you are going to mainly plug in your computer is better if you take the battery out, the USB tends to consume battery life while charging it. That is why, as time goes by the battery dies faster.

Not to be stupid, but make sure your AC adapter is plugged in securely to your outlet and into your laptop.  Try a different outlet to see if your wall socket is bad.  Additionally, remove the battery and try and run the computer just off of the AC Adapter.  Your laptop does not need the external battery to function.  The battery only affords you portability away from an outlet.  If the laptop does not run off of the AC adapter without the battery, you may have a bad adapter, or the laptop itself needs service (system board replacement).  That's when I'd hope your laptop is still covered under warranty, either wise you'd be better off buying a new laptop.  The one thing to remember is your laptop should run regardless of the state or condition of the battery.  If the laptop runs fine without the battery, you need to replace the battery.  If you're getting additional issues where it gives you an error code about date and time settings, then you'd need to worry about having the internal CMOS battery replaced.  But that doesn't sound like your issue.  A critically low battery error and the system shutting down sounds like your adapter itself or the laptop is shot.  Best of luck to you.
