Why does my computer score low on the 3D Mark Test?

The best score ive gotten on the Tests is a 323.9 and everyone I know with lower specs than my computer get like in the 1000's!!!!!!! how can this be my computer is a custom built PC with 320 GB hard drive Intel Hyper threading processor running at 3.20 GHz and 2.24 GB of RAM and a DVD-RW drive with lightscribe and a Sound blaster Live card now I do have integrated graphics with only 96 MB of memory but i dont see how that can keep my system from getting into the 1000's or even more so can soemone tell me WTF is wrong?

  1. Integrated graphics are weak.  3dmark is a graphics test, and if you have weak graphics then the score is going to be low.  The rest of your hardware can only redeem your score so much.
