I have a credit score of 680, but the report says it's "fair". I thought 680 was the beginning of good?

  1. at one point or another you missed or were late with a payment, it doesn't take much to drop your rating. a forgotten bill that you rushed out to mail and forgot.. oops! that's the one that did it. so now your rating is "fair" better than BAD!

  2. 620 - 690 is fair. Here is how scores are grouped

  3. As far as I know, 700 is good.

  4. they have changed the format and added more numbers to the ratings.

You have to get up in the 700 to 800 range now.

I think it goes even higher than that.
