Why does my dad still beat me with his belt?

i,m 34 years old but everytime my dad comes home from the pub he beats me with his belt ,iv tried hidden under the bed but im to big to crawl under there .Should i tell social services on him or should i leave.

wow..that's really sad... he should not treat you that's way... you should try to stay far from him when he gets that way...try to leave the house for a little bit until he cools off....but if it is really bad you should consider social services..but first talk to your dad and see what gets him that's way...if talking wont help, you should call and maybe get anger management classes for him or something because that's just not right at all expecilally for a man of your age

social services would probably beat you too for calling them for something like this.  Why are you and your father still 2gether and you're 34? He clearly doesnt need any aid at home since he can go out and get lushed. You guys need to part ways. If all else fails whoop his butt for coming home lushed out. Belt Wars.

You sure you're 34?  At that age you should be able to defend yourself.  I'm not telling to beat the c**p out of him but whenever he try to beat you, just grab his belt and he'll have no weapon.  If he try to hit you with anything then you can hit him.  I don't think social services will take you seriously.

I don't see why you wouldn't have moved out but yeah.

Anyway, you don't deserve getting hit with your fathers belt.

Just stay away from him if he doesn't treat you right. Get him some help. Don't just hide under the bed. Report him for abuse or something ..

34 is just a little old to be living with mom and dad.  Maybe it is time you moved into your own place.

I'm finding all of that hard to believe because your dad would be at least 60, if not older... That's strange. Talk to your mom or something.
