Why does my daughter's school supply list "Disinfectant Wipes" and then state "NO CLOROX"?

Her list specifically requests the disinfectant wipes but states No Clorox...Why? Is there something bad about that particular brand wipes? Do they fear that they may get wipes with bleach in them? What's the deal?? I know it's not expense!

  1. If you read the label, it gives a 'keep out of children's reach' warning. It also stated it was very harmful to humans and domestic animals, to keep out of contact with eyes, that it could stain clothing, and that you should wash your hands with soap and water after every use. Kids could have allergic reactions and could get a hold of them or something if it's for the teacher's use only. It's only a means of safety.

  2. look for other a cheaper brand and clorox may bleach things... plus..some people may be allergic to clorox or cannot stand the strong smell of it!!! good luck!!!

  3. Chlorine reacts with different materials, I don't know if clorox wipes have bleach in them but some people are sensitive to them. I'm surprised they aren't supplying something like that from the school. Or is it a pre-school?
