My 5 year old Silky Terrier has attacked me 4 times over the summer, and he got me twice. The first time he had a plastic knife that I cut brownies with, and he bit my arm and thigh. Then once he had my underwear (also, why does he take my family's underwear?), but wasnt able to bite me. Then just today, he had NOTHING, but whent I went to pet him, he snarled, jumped up and bit me! WHy does he do this, and what can we do?

  1. thats one vicious dog. the only solution is proffesional dog trainer to help him. i would First take the dog to the vet, it could be something causing this madness. do what the vet reccommends. but take him asap to the vet so he doesnt go biting some little child. then the childs parents will sue you and it'll cause a whold big mess.

  2. bad or wrong energy! u need to watch the dog whisperer!

  3. If it were my dog it would come to a point of when its time to say bye to dog.

I would never let my dog bite me! Dogs shouldn't bite the hand that feeds them.

or maybe he needs more training!

The underwear thing I can explain. He chews it because it has your scent on it!

My Duke does that too mine!

  4. It probably doensnt know u as well.:)

  5. Ok, Has there been something in the past where you have hit the dog or anything along those lines, even once or twice for being naughty?

How long have you had him for and has this just started since the begging of the summer of before that?

If he does not do this to anyone else there is a problem between you and him.

  6. well.....if he has just recently started doing it he might have a health problem. but he might just have anger issues like anything. you have patience though.....i would have smacked him.
