Why does my dog hair keeps falling off?

ok so i have a 7 month old pit bull an his hair keeps falling off a lot what can i put or do to stop from falling.

It's called shedding.  All dogs do it.  Get used to it.

Everything here depends on WHY your dog's hair is falling out.  It could be an allergy, or mange, skin disease, hot spots, scrapes,..diabetes and low thyroid are two things that can affect a dog's hair coat.  The most common thing I see is missing hair on the back, from the tail towards the head and sometimes on the back legs and underneath, too.  That is usually caused by a flea bite allergy.  You have to get all of the fleas off the dog and use something that repels fleas (some flea sprays are good for that) to keep them off.  You also have to wash where she sleeps, flea bomb your house and spray your yard.  If you aren't sure what is wrong with your dog, your vet can tell you.

Well it could be a lot of things, he might have a parasite like ringworm, he might have an allergy, and in my dog's case (who had fur falling out) he had a thyroid problem. Best bet - talk to a vet!!!

ok i would say he's just shedding! But take him to the vet just in case its something more serious!
