Why does my dog hate it when I spy on him?

My one year old shiba inu male who is also neutered hates it when I spy on him. I would hide behind a column in my house and spy on my dog. He can clearly see me and he would get really angry and bark alot of times. My shiba inu never really barks unless there is something really aggrivating is going on but he hates it when I hide and bark alot of times. Sometimes he gets so frustrated that he just goes down stairs!

So Why does my dog hate it when I spy on him? Are all dogs like that? Or is this particular in a breed?

My dogs like to play hide and seek, but they are herding dogs.

He's mad at you.  For the love of God.... He's l*****g himself.  Would you like it if he watched you while you were going to the bathroom?

I haven't heard of that, but different breeds have different personality traits, it's interesting.
