Why does my dog keep doing this?

Im laying down petting my dog with my hand and cat with my foot and everytime i stop petting the dog he looks over at the cat as for vice versa the cat dosen't seem to care even just moving my foot the dog goes alert to see what im doing is he jealous? i mean usually the dog hangs out with me in my room,and for once i let the cat in...

  1. He is demanding attention, feeling that you may give it to someone/something else.   I sense jealousy there, so let him know things are okay by giving more attention to him, maybe playing fetch.


  2. Your best shot at pet togetherness is to get your cat and dog when they're both young. Kittens and puppies who grow up together are much more likely to get along, and they can even become close buddies.

    probably your dog is not used to have a cat around..
