Question:

Why does my dog pee only when my dad greets her?

You know how some puppies pee excitedly when they're greeted by their owners? Well, my dog doesn't do that when she sees me (I'm her owner and caretaker), my mom or my brothers, but when she greets my dad...she pees!

It's not that she loves him more than anyone else, she sees him the least, and no, my dad has never abused her. Is it just because he's a big man, and she becomes very submissive?...

  1. She's just being submissive. (Probably because he's a big man and maybe intimidating to her. Not a bad thing.)

    :)

  2. omg same thing happens here...she does that to the person she sees the least, i think she does this to show shes excited to see your dad (my dog pees wen she sees my dad too)

  3. Its a submissive thing. My st bernard only pees when my brother pets him! Hes so nice to him! Has never pestered him or been mean to him but he still does it every time! Whenever he would come over to visit i would walk the dog first so that way hes empty when he pets him =D

  4. he is intimidated by him.

  5. She's submitting to him.

Does she cower when she does it? has he scared her ( harsh punishment?)
