  2. eww thats gross! You could tell your dog No or pull your dog away from it before it starts to do it!

  3. there are a few different theories on this.  the two main ones are...

    -it's a territorial thing.  the dog wants to rub in it... not to get it on him\herself... but to rub out the "scent" and leave it's own scent.

    -the other theory is that the dog likes the scent (maybe it is a female p**p and your dog is a male?)... so they rub themselves in it.

    it's normal.... a mess for you to clean... but normal :)

    also.. beware...sometimes dogs EAT poops they find.. YUCK!!! you shouldn't really let them do that bc there can be all sorts of bacteria in it.. and you don't know how long it has been out there.. there can be bugs, maggots etc etc in it!!
