Why does my dvd say a message?

i just burnt a dvd when i play it it comes up saying buy an unlcok key to use or someothing why does it say this is it the thing tht i burnt it on the converter

All DVDs have region settings and if your burning a dvd in USA and have the settings set to UK this is why you will be getting this message,  You can get all sorts of software of burn DVD's and the best one i can find is NERO 8.

If you are using a stand alone dvd player then you can hunt for Unlock codes from the internet and you should find one that fits your model and you can unlock it to region free.
