Why does my embarq internet all ways go out?

ok well this is the thing. i had to upgrade to the new box. the 660 series from embarq. the dsl light is on but not the internet one. i always have to call them and they tell me that its cause there doing maintenance. now mind you i had this box for over 2 months now and it still happens and when i call them the same thing. i dont know if its cause of the tallahassee area or what but jeeze....

Hello Michael R,

I would like to look at your network profile to research why you are not able to maintain a connection.  Please send your phone number to my email and I will find a resolution for you.  Are you only connected to the Xbox?  Do you use a network router?  If you have a router, I would also recommend connecting to the modem directly and see if it allows you to connect.  Thank you for using Embarq, your complete communications solution.
