I have a 1990 Baja with a 454ci, holly 4-bl and electronic pick-up on the distributor. When running the boat generally above 2800 rpm, this issuse presents itself. It will run fine for a few minutes, than it either tryies to stall out or drops down to a lower rpm and bucks before it goes back up to speed. I have checked the filter, fuel flow, voltage at coil and voltage during the event and its fine.I did replace the electronic coil pick-up on the distributor which helped with starting but not the main problem. I have added an electric fuel pump before the mechanical pump and again had plenty of fuel volume but the engine still wants to stall. I am running out of ideas as to what could be causing this. Any ideas?

 1. If you pump the throttle does it pick up in rpm> If so it's fuel like float level in the carb>If not it still an electrical problem>You did connect the electric fuel pump to the oil sender so if the engine is not running the pump will not flood the engine>And you don't connect the ele fuel pump threw the manual or it can fill the crank case or bilge with gas>
