Why does my eye feel like its burning all the time?

My eyes always annoy me it happens almost every day. For no reason it starts burning inside and makes me blink faster then normal. It causes a little twictching sometime and this annoys me. I tryed eye drop and all that stuff and i use zyrtex a medicicine for alergys. I have a alergy too thats what doctor told me causes eyes to do that but I havent seen results my eyes still annoys me. My eye vision is perfect as well, i had this eye problem for like 2 years. THe right one annoys me more then my left. Opticals and them dont help they just give eye drops which dont help.Usualy if i dont blink faster when my eyes do that it burns.

Any way to make my eyes from feeling like it burns all the time?

Try a different kind of eye drops, I find a milder one usually helps, link below.  Also, you could try a different allergy med like Claritin instead of Zyrtec. Try a cool damp washcloth on them for a minute or so when they're bothering you and/or in the am, should help.

Unfortunately people with allergies sometimes have a tough time. It happens to me too. Some days worse than others. I use Zatidor and it does make a big difference, but I work for an eye doctor that says that some people do better with Rx Pataday or Patanol. Maybe your Doctor can write and RX for a Prescription eye drop like one of those and see if it works better for you instead of the Zatidor. One thing I do is I make sure I wash my eye lids in the morning and at night. Baby Shampoo does wonders. Try not to rub your eyes at all too. I know this is not all that much help, but I do hope you can find a remedy, I do know how annoying it is.  Maybe seeing a different ophthalmologist would be the answer. Good luck!

I have a similar condition and my optometrists seem to say different things. But my doctor gave me this sodium iriggation thing. theyre like drops you put into your eye and it makes it better. And as for the allergies they might be causing the burning. when it burns do your eyse get really water and itchy (if it does please do NOT rub it as it onyl makes it worse and more itchy) you might want to see a specialist and before doing so put a cloth with some ice over yoru eyes which may relieve hte burning.
