Question:

Why does my eye twitch?

My left eye occasionally twitches, ie; the thickish part of the lower lid suddenly moves toward my nose

Sometimes it's just one little flick, sometimes it flicks backwards and forwards for as long as 2 minutes

It's very annoying! Has been happening for about a week

As far as I can tell it doens't happen in correspondance with anything else i'm doing (looking into the distance, smoking ect)

Recently I started eating a lot of healthy food (nuts and seeds, greens, fruit, cutting down on chips and noodles ect) - Could that be related?

Any help appreciated :3

And no I am not taking any drugs (other than caffiene and Nicotine, which are hardly new to my body)

  1. 1. You're tired

    or

    2. You're watching too much TV, or on the computer too much.

  2. you have a lazy eye ?

  3. stress

  4. Muscle spasm.

I find applying slight pressure to the twitch with my index finger (and keeping it there for about 10 seconds) usually gets rid.
