First of all i don't even like the concept of mental disorders...they say i have ADHD, depression, and bipolar disorder or atleast they're giving me prescriptions for that ..i've been on prozac, concerta, wellbutrin, the very dangerous lithium, and now abilifi...i feel it's discriminatory and how people feel the need to call the cops when someone has a mental breakdown or when i throw things around....i failed school cause i spent 7 weeks in a psych ward during the school year just because i was throwing stuff at my sister who pissed me off...yea i have anger management issues but there are outpatient treatments for that...

and psych wards only ruin the situation and would obviously just make everyone depressed by just being in there.. the doctors don't even know me and wanna go in every corner of my personal life ..then they talk to my parents who tell all lies to keep me there longer...

  1. Man, just take it easy. Get busy and get an occupation or something that keeps you focused on something most of the time. You won't even need drugs and the breakdowns will slow down and maybe disappear.

Don't take it on people, take it on a pillow (it sounds stupid but it does actually help).

Most important: GET LAID. There's no better cure for everything.

    Hope it helps,

  2. the fact that you need to post this question means you have serious

problems because you are not even aware of them. Thinking that your parents tell lies to keep you in a mental hospital is definitely a sign of paranoia. You are probably dangerous and people are afraid of you but glad you are in the hospital and not in jail.

  3. I cannot say since there is only one side to this story told...if you feel discriminated against do something about it and prove your not what they say you are.

  4. Firstly, I'm sorry about your situation.  It is frustrated to be out of control, whether is yourself or the circumstances.  You don't say how old you are.  Do you have an advocate for you other than your parents?  It seems you are on a lot of high powered meds; many of which have side effects.

If you have behaved in an out of control manner, perhaps your parents felt they had no other alternative.  Try to deal with your anger issues; that would help you relate to others at a better level.  If your parents are telling lies, are there families issues that should be dealt with?  Reach out to the professionals in your life, doctors, ccounselors even police officials or try contacting a community mental health facility on your own to assist you.

  5. My sister has Bipolar disorder and ADHD or supposedly she does and sometimes I think she needs to be "locked up" but being in a psychiatric facility is what usually "helps" people but people with the (overly diagnosed) Bipolar disorder are treated differently than most other people whether it be in school or at home. I am just taking a wild guess that all your teachers think you aren't as smart as you are and you don't really try as hard as you could. Well, here is some advice: Try your best to control yourself and if you have trouble with students at school don't lash out at them or your sister if you have trouble ignoring your sister or she makes fun of you then try this when she says something SMILE at her as much as you can and agree with her even if you don't.
