Why does my female minicrab have an enlargening section in her abdomen?

The female crab has a spongy area that is getting bigger. It's around her midsection.

  1. If there is a Male Crab in the Tank too,you could have a Pregnant Crab.

    Outside of that idea, I really don't have any other suggestions.
