Why does my ferret bite harder on some days?

I know this is a stupid question and I'm sure nobody knows the answer, but h**l, I just wanted to know.

He/she is just more playful! And is getting more carried away. Do you mean play bite, or a mean bite?

I bet that if the ferret is play biting - maybe you are handling him or her when she's more excited on that day, and just not realizing it.

its not some days . it depends on how angry he is or frightened . if he feels a threat he may bite harder than usual .

Cause he feels like it .Animals dont have bite settings like a volume setting on the  ipod ,a bite is as hard as the muscle contracts.
