I purchased a 37 inch insignia hd lcd a couple months ago. It's connected directly to the cable line (time warner) without a converter box for the hd.....the picture is great and very clear the way it is!! Anyhow, at first nothing was wrong at all. Picture was/is great. But lately it has started to go to a blank screen that only displays "PLEASE WAIT" about every 10-15 minutes or so. It then returns back to the program. If I have a dvd movie playing it will play all the way through without any problems. So....stupid question is......is there any chance that the tv needs service??? Or should I call and complain to Time Warner about the already poor service I have?????

  1. Obama's Aliens From Mars are s******g with your TV and therefore s******g with your mind.  Vote for McCain for better TVs and better TV reception

  2. theres a ghost in your house!

  3. Since you dvd works even though it's on a different input, the problem is more than likely time warner. If they can't help you check with Best Buy about getting the tv serviced. Insignia is a Best Buy brand name and should have at least a 1 yr warranty.

  4. sounds like something wrong with the cable.. something similar is going on with mine. i'd try calling time warner, i still haven't called my cable provider but it seems like the only thing to do

  5. call the tv manufacturer and explain the problem to them. they are best personnel to provide you the right solution.

dont waste your time & effort, there's no way you can do it unless you are a technician pro.
