Question:

Why does my foot hurt to walk on it ?

I broke my left foot on july 26th, and I just recently got my cast off last Thursday. Dr. Harding said it was healed, and just not to do hardcore sports and what not for at least 2 months. But right now my ankle hurts, and the top of my foot where my toes are. My whole foot seems to ache also when i step on it barefoot, or in flip flops, but not in shoes. The fracture was caused by rolling over on it while playing tennis. It was along the bone the link is referring to.

Is this because my foot is building muscle? Or because i'm just getting used to walking on a foot that's been in a cast for 7 weeks?

Thank you for any information : )

It's all appreciated.
