Why does my friend always "hog" our other friend's baby when she visits?

Whenever my friend Jane* brings her adorable, one year old son over to visit, our other friend, Susie* kind of hogs him. She constantly is holding him and acts annoyed when I ask for a turn.

Even when I'm holding him, she's constantly hovering around me still talking and playing with him, not giving me much one on one time with him.

Yesterday, I was standing in the foyer of my house holding him when she came over to visit and she looked irritated that I had him in my arms.

Even though the baby's Mom, Jane and I are friends, we're not as close as Jane and Susie.

I think she just love the kids..

don't take offensive or personal. she just love to play with the kids. I do too, for a while but not until they start want to touch everything..and with you for a longer time.

think this way, you "giving" her extra time to enjoy what she love.

This is a really silly thing to get upset over! You seem to be jealous that your friend gets to hold your other friend's baby more than you do! It sounds to me like you need to have your own baby then you can hog it all you want.
