Question:

Why does my friend ignore me now?

She just says "Hey, we should hang out this week since it's the last week for summer vacation! (until school)".

She just told me this last week but now she won't even talk to me. I mean on msn she doesn't even say Hi what's up?? until i say it and after that it's all silence. I mean i've only hung out with her a few times this summer and we used to be such good friends and we would call eachother every other day.

Now she doesn't even call me or txt/msg and i want to ask her what's up with that? And whenever i ask her if she wants to hang out at the mall or w/e she just says she's busy or she wants to chill at home.

Is she ignoring me or is she really that busy?

Help how can we get to be close friends again? Sadly we're not attending the same school so i know it's tough but i do think she's a really good friend so i would love to stay friends?

  1. Wow...the same thing happened to me too. I know it must be frustrating, but u have to get on with life. If u think shes ignoring u then make new friends and hang out in front of ur friend. Then she will realise that u have leaved her (as shes ignoring u) and got on with life. See after a few days she will be back to normal.

  2. Well if she's treating you like shiit then why do you want to stay friends with her?

  3. Maybe something is on her mind. I recommend reminding her that she wanted to hang out that week, and ask her if anything is wrong. It's not really fair to you if she's ignoring you, which means that she's not a very good friend. But if she is genuinely busy, or something is bothering her, maybe she just needs space.

  4. Sounds like to me she is a goner. If I were you I would just leave it as it is. She doesn't seem to want to be your friend anymore.

Remember, actions speak louder than words.

Oh well, it's her lost. You sound like a good friend.

From now on don't make the first move. Do what she does to you, just ignore her. And when she decides to talk to you. Ask her for a heart to heart talk about why she no longer wants to be your friend.

    It's up to you.
