  1. mine did that to my hair but it didnt want to let go

  2. They like to chew on EVERY thing, it's just part of being them.

  3. Does your guinea pig have access to unlimited grass hay? If not, that may be causing it.

  4. I'm not sure why they do that either. Maybe they like the taste of hair?

When piggies do it to each other, its called "barbering". It is harmless to both piggies, but the one being barbered looks very unsightly. The definitely need some beauty school lessons!!

  5. Yeah, some pigs just do it. I've seen lonts of pictures of long haired pigs who cage mate likes to barber him. It's quote humorous. Some people think it is like a bad habit of some pigs. There are no sure ways to stop it. You can try encouraging him to chew on other things, like maybe some homemade cardboard tunnels or toilet paper rolls. Probably won't work, but it's worth a try.

  6. Lol, my guinea pig did the same thing! So I named her Nibbles (because she always nibbled on my hair). I don't know exactly why they do this, prolly just something to chew on I guess lol, I'm prolly wrong though XD
