When I picked up my guinea pig I noticed he had more saliva in his mouth. It kinda comes out but then he does keep it in. I do see him drinking fine but when I pick him up I don't pick up right after hes done with drinking the water. Is it natural to do that? My mom said it's because he's old. lol But I'm not sure. Also this never happen to him before but I'm not sure?

  1. Drooling can indicate both problems with the teeth and scurvy (from a lack of Vitamin C). In either event, you want to get your piggy to a vet as soon as possible, Either condition is serious.

  2. Idk... he might be sick.
