well i have straight hair but i like to blowdry it to make it flat because it suits me better. since i don't want to cause damage to my hair, i don't want to wash it everyday then have to blowdry it everyday. but even after one day of not washing my hair, it gets really oily! can someone please tell me why? and no, i do not apply any chemicals to it.

  1. Well I don't know why it gets oily, but my hair is the same way. I have a simple solution, you can put powder in your hair and it will absorb the moisture and make your hair look less oily. That's what I do.

  2. i heard that if you put your hands in your hair the oils off your hands can transfer to your hair and make it oily and limp.   well, hope i helped.   :]

  3. my hair's wavy/curly, but i find that whenever i leave it up for the majority of the day, then it gets oily faster than a down-do. same if i brush my hair too much (the brush stimulates the oils in your scalp.. not a good thing for already oily hair).
