My hair keeps falling out and not just a little bit I mean its like my brush is full every day! I stopped coloring my hair 2 years ago and nothing I do seems to help. Its not breaking its coming out at the roots. I'm only 28 and my hair is like 80 year old lady thin. Any ideas?

  1. Maybe because of the coloring. The chemicals in it might be the cause for your hair to be falling out. Or your not taking care of it properly.

  2. ok first things first....in regards to the two idiots before me, she cant help what her hair does and she is asking a question you don't need to be retarded about it....

in response to your question...what you need to do is get a wide tooth comb and use that to brush your hair...brushes pull and tug which put unnecessary strain on your strands...also invest in a shampoo called Nioxin...they sell it at ulta and on-line(ill post a website for you at the bottom)...it helps to regrow your hair...

their are many things that cause "shedding" in the summer months our hair tends to excessively fall out because we don't need as much "coating" as we do in the winter months...also you might need to add some more protein to your diet or take 500 mg of biotin which is wonderful for you hair and nails

    hope i helped a little

you can get nioxin cheap on this site or just buy it at ulta if you have one near you

  3. You lose hundreds of hairs every day naturally. I know it sounds like a lot, but it really isn't. Try taking a multi-vitamin, extra vitamin E & C, folic acid, and calcium. I went through a hair loss a few years ago and this is what I was told to do and it worked. If you start to see noticeable bald spots, then check with your doctor.

  4. it's normal

  5. it doesnt like you

  6. Stop using chemical products on your hair for a while. Use a mild herbal shampoo and try using olive oil or coconut hair oil.

  7. Mine has been doing the same thing.

I badly chemically fried my hair four years ago, and continually kept having the damaged hair cut off, but despite better care, not coloring, and never bleaching,  I lose a lot of hair every day in the shower.  My once thick, yet fine hair, is now not only still fine, but it's very thin, especially on top in the bang area.

I've actually considered shaving it to get rid of any dye that would be left in it and have a clean slate so to speak, though I'm afraid of how long it will take to grow..
