  1. Hamsters are also can be consider as a other kind or group of rats,

they can save a lot of energy likely rats are, they can be a kinda aggressive like rats, I had taken a pet hamster so long time,It was having a rest,I carry her and so bad that I was been biten that my finger had bleed,i just washed it with water and thankful It didn't feel anything when its little two teeth burrowed my finger. After that happened I didnt really mind her and died, I was scared though and that Im still very young.Don't mind the sleeping rat!

  2. they sleep all day

  3. It's too bright or your room isn't the right temperature or maybe they are hungry or they have a tummy ache there could be many things wrong wit your hammie i don't know.

  4. because it nervous

  5. Are you talking about a brand new baby hamster?

In my experience it takes them a few days to sort out their routine.  My current hamster seemed to always be awake for about a week after I got her.  The hamster before that seemed to sleep constantly for two days solid without waking at all.  In the end, they both settled to more "normal" routines.  I'm sure yours will too.  Its important that you don't try to "help" in any way - leave your hamster alone to sort him/herself out.

  6. I think well I don't now ! but Ihave a hamster some hamsters don't  like to sleep they like to play

  7. Hamsters usually sleep during the day ... but sometimes they don't. Is your hamster cage anywhere near a window where it is too bright sometimes? Try moving the cage into somewhere in the shade. Or it could just be that you miss it sleeping they don't sleep for very long so it may be sleeping when you just don't realise it!

  8. Hamsters are suposed to be nocturnal, prehaps the rooms to light? or too noisy for them

  9. Hamsters are crepuscular. Crepuscular is a term used to describe animals that are primarily active during twilight, hence at dawn and at dusk. Crepuscular is thus in contrast with diurnal and nocturnal behavior. Crepuscular animals may also be active on a bright moonlit night.

I think thats why your hamster seemed to be awake all the time... But, don't worry! Maybe it still sleeps while you don't notice it...

    Hope I helped!
