Why does my iHome do this?

Question

When my iHome is pugged in sometimes it makes this buzzing noise at random. Sometimes in the middle of the night and it wakes me up. I can just start turning to power of when I sleep, but why does it do this? There are no other electronics around it.

mine does the same thing once in a while..

i hav no clue..

hmmm..

its a pretty annoying sound too...
