Why does my internet stop working everyday from approx. 10am-1pm? ?

Hi there. I have been having this problem for as long as I can remember and am curious as to what could be causing this. I have two desktops connected together through a router, which is connected to my modem. At all times, my network is working perfectly, but between 10-1, my internet stops working. The light on the modem for the internet connection goes out with out fail everyday for a few hours, and will not come back on no matter how many times I restart the it.

Same thing if you have DSL - call the phone company's tech support number.

If you have cable, it is the cable service.  Call them and have them check all the wires and relays outside.  they might have to upgrade in your area
