i have crappy internet. i have dsl and supposedly were paying for a good internet package but i sure am not getting it. i have a pc thats connected wirelessly and an xbox 360 that is directly connected. i have a wrt54g router and on my wireless pc it says my signal strength is low. i want to directly connect it but i only have one ethernet cord ran up into my room. is there any kind of splitter that can turn one ethernet cord into 2? ok also how do i fix my internet. on the computer with the modem attached it says the network speed is 100 mbps. but the internet is really slow. my connection also sucks on my xbox that is directly connected. can anyone shed some light on this problem for me?

  1. Firstly, your wireless signal strength which is 'low', and your network speed which is '100mbps' both have nothing to do with your internet speed. If you want to find out how fast your internet really is, go to http://speedtest.net and run a speedtest. Then ring up your ISP and tell them how fast the speedtest tells you it's going, and ask them if it should be faster.

  2. I think its more likely that your PC or the router that is crappy rather than the internet.   You need to find out which is your weakest link

  3. Stop looking at p**n.
