Why does my ipod video not play videos??

Question

I have a gen 5 ipod video (30 gig). I have downloaded music on it and it seems to work fine for the music but when i download music videos or movies it will only play the audio from the tracks. I have a pc with windows xp. But all of the videos i get for it are from itunes... does anyone know if there is some trick or step i'm missing?? Thanks.

try getting limeiwire and downloading the video

for example: shake it mp4

thats the only way it will come up it in a video and it will work perfectly

Make sure your TV Out setting is set to "off". It's in the Video Settings menu. Sounds simple, but I've done it before after watching my iPod on TV then forgot to change the setting back to off.

So ipod does not support formats your downloaded.
