  1. Oh i have that too. It might be TMJ. What i do is massage where it hurts and move it around until it gets back into place, massaging it helps a lot. Don't worry. I had this for almost 2 years. Just rest it and don't make it worse by opening your mouth wide. :)

  7. It could be your Wisdom teeth coming through, mine gave me lots of jip! I had Jaw ache, headaches, mouth ache...

  8. I have had this for a long time. I went to a physical therapist who would massage the part of the jaw and would help me be able to open my mouth normally, because my lower jaw would open crooked.

First, don't try to open your mouth wide to pop it back- That might cause more damage or pain. Try massaging the area of pain and move your jaw left and right slowly until it feels like you have popped it back into place. Be really easy into letting it open wide again, because it could just pop back out again and it hurts a lot (as you obviously now know).

If you feel right behind the back of your ears, there is a little indent (almost like your temples) on both sides and if you keep your fingers there and open and close your mouth, you can feel your jaw moving away from the indents, and into the indents. This will give you a better idea of if you are closing your jaw crookedly. A couple other causes for this could be lock jaw or if you clench or grind your teeth as well, I've heard that could be a potential problem for jaw issues as well. I hope that helps and good luck!

  9. You should go see a doctor.
