She usualy does it when I'm wearing my black jeans. I have two kittens, but the other one doesn't do it? When I kneel, the kitten that climbs up my leg, she jumps onto my knee and sits on the upper part of my leg. When i sit on the floor, she climbs on. Why? The other one doesn't, she just sits and watches. And whenever I'm near them, they purr, alot. It is normally after i feed them and spend a little time with them. Why?

  1. I have 5 foster kittens and only 1 of them likes to climb my jeans. its usually when I am not paying attention to her so it is her way of saying "dont forget to pet me!" Also jeans make such a fun scratching noise when they are climbed so it is inevitable that they will see it as a walking scratching post. the best thing to do is not give her attention when she does it then she will see that climbing doesnt get her attention. Also one of my kittens purrs when i look at him, they get excited and anticipate being petted. Have fun with your kitten!!

  2. they love attention

they probably want more attention or is really close to you

it gets happy when it sees you

  3. well she may think your teaching her something.cuse they think the frist peron they see is there mother.

  4. maybe the kitten wants a little more attention than you usually give it.

  5. because cats love climbing up you when they are kittens,i'm sure they just love to hear you squeal when they run up your leg with their little tiny sharp claws out, they just want to be close to you and get lots of TLC,mine still does it now and she 17,and you should see her get on my back and onto my shoulder when I'm at the computer, talking of which here she is..oh and she helps me type sometimessssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss...
