Why does my kitty cat dance on me?

when i pet her and stop she stands on me and starts dancing on me with her front paws, it feels cool on my stomach though =).. Is she petting me back? lol

its kinda like i call it paw pawing just like testing you out before she lays down on you

When a cat does that, it is kneading you. That's what they do while nursing  I liked it when my cats did that.

Some people call it making biscuits or a kitty massage.

I call what they do "doo-dahing".  Actually had a cat that was named Doodah, since that's all she ever did.  It did look like she was dancing; really cool.

You kitty thinks of you as its "mommy" and loves you very much.
